Get ready for England’s new recycling legislation for businesses

The UK government has introduced ' ‘Simpler Recycling’ legislation aimed at enhancing recycling efforts among business premises. In England, from 31st March 2025, all businesses with 10 or more full-time employees are required to comply with several key requirements outlined in response to the Recycling Consistency consultation.

Under the new rules, businesses need to separate “recycling relevant waste”, on site, prior to collection by a waste contractor.

We’re here to help you understand your business’ legal obligations, as well as the benefits to your business of better recycling, and what to look for when choosing your waste management systems.

WHAT waste STREAMS ARE INCLUDED?
